The Lush Series 1500 is constructed with pocket springs with a flat rod edge providing medium to firm support. The mattress features a side-stitched border in a hard-wearing fabric which helps to give the edge to edge support and longevity and a luxury faux fur top which provides a magnificently soft sleeping domain. There are flag stitched turning handles on each side of the mattress for easy care, air vents and a stylish bumper bar on the base of the matching divan which is available with multiple storage options. Over the last decade, we have shifted to more sustainable practices within our company. We have alone diverted tonnes of plastic bottles and other materials from landfill and our oceans. We are continually looking into ways to offset our carbon output and hope to become a carbon neutral manufacturer in the coming years.
Tonnes of plastic bottles and other materials, that would have ended in the ocean or landfill, are recycled to create our polyester fabrics. Not only does this protect the environment, it also creates a durable and versatile fabric that meets the demands of our products.
The recycled plastics also go into our minimal but protective plastic packaging for our products, which themselves can be recycled again.
We have partnered with leading specialists, who have introduced us to innovative technologies and practices that revolutionise the environmental impact of the mattress industry and have helped us achieve our sustainability goals.
Mattress components are each renewed in their own unique ways. Springs are checked meticulously and repaired where possible. Those that are beyond repair are melted down and used to create completely new products. Fabrics and polyesters are cleaned at high temperatures, shredded, and rewoven into brand new fillings, along with the recycled plastic polyesters.
